Le brushless Trinity N80
Le brushless Trinity N80 est sensorless et contrairement aux futurs moteurs Orion Vortex, il ne peut pas être associé à des variateurs avec mesure de position.Comme nous le disions précédemment, ce choix est un pari risqué pour Trinity, puisque à l’heure actuelle, le seul variateur capable de gérer le N80 est le Mamba Max.
On suppose donc que Trinity a dessiné son N80 autour du Mamba Max en attendant le futur vario de Tekin.

Au passage, N80 pour les non initiés peut se lire NEO et le design de l’étiquette rappelle étrangement les couleurs de Matrix, se pourrait il que ce moteur se joue de la physique terrestre ? ce brushless peut il satelliser nos véhicules ?…
Les seules informations disponibles, c’est leger pour un grand fabricant de moteur
Ce qui saute au premier coup d’œil, c’est le lieu de fabrication : Made In China.
Ce n’est pas forcément un gage de qualité de fabrication… mais une fois déballé, on est vite rassuré en constatant des usinages propres et sérieux.
Les usinages, tel cette gravure "EPIC" sont très soignés.
Le bundle est constitué de 3 câbles équipés de prises type PK mâles à souder soit même. A ce sujet, faîtes attention à ne pas court-circuiter le couvercle du moteur (qui est en alu) quand vous souder les câbles.
Le bundle permet de câbler le moteur sans soucis sur le Mamba Max
Mention spéciale aux œillets qui permettent le câblage, ils sont capables d’accueillir des câbles de 12AWG.
On peut utiliser des câble 12AWG avec les oeillets
Ouverture du capot qui protège la tête, Attention, le capot est en alu, alors soignez vos soudures de câbles si vous ne voulez pas avoir de court-circuit
Les soudures internes semblent un peu sales, mais c’est la résine décapante qui donne cet aspect peu flatteur, car les soudures sont très correctes.

L’aimantation est impressionnante au toucher, on croirait un moteur à charbon, ça change de certains moteurs de marques concurrentes et du moteur CM36 de Castle Creation dont nous parlerons tout à l’heure.
En général une forte aimantation permet un fort couple et un excellent rendement (même si pour ce dernier il est difficile de le mesurer sans instrumentation digne de ce nom).

La tête semble pouvoir tourner dans un sens, est ce le réglage du timing moteur ? En fait l’inexistence de la notice laisse planer des doutes à ce sujet.
